1 Corinthians 15:3
3: I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me--that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.
1 Peter 2:24
- He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds!
Isaiah 53:1
- Who has believed our message? To whom will the LORD reveal his saving power?
- My servant grew up in the LORD's presence like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.

Galatians 1:4

- Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful.
Romans 3:25
- For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times.
